Chaco's "no ka oi" Chacos "are the best" - My husband and I live an outdoor life on Maui 12 months a year and we do it in Chacos. We hike daily up the Puali at Makena out the lava flow at La Perouse, always on moving lava rocks. You feel your feet grip and hold balancing on the small tops of rocks. The toe loops are a must for this type of hiking.
