A nice alternative - I always thought the all-star low shoes were a little too bulky to wear in a non-sports setting. I ordered the all-star lights hoping for a more streamlined shoe and that pretty much what they are. I ordered the milk color and unfortunately they're hard to keep clean but besides that I've received many compliments on them. I would have liked them in a half size because the 8 is a bit too big but oh well.
