Darling shoe and I ordered it in the metallic. However, the upper strap seemed a bit loose, and I was afraid that with wear, it would stretch out. Too bad because it looked great on.
Dansko's Suri clog has become my new favorite go-to shoe. It is comfortable all day long, with arch support I didn't realize I'd want or need until I had it. It's the footbed that has become my favorite aspect of these shoes, shock-absorbing without overly soft cushioning. I can walk a long distance or shop in them quite comfortably for hours. The toe box is roomy (I usually wear a wide width in a shoe). The slight heel allows me to wear my longer-length pants without dragging their hems on the ground. I am asking for a pair in another color as a Christmas gift.
Dansko does it again! The Dansko Margrete is simply fabulous, I wear them with everything from a dark wash jean doing weekend errands to summer dresses and skirts. These versatile shoes are superior in comfort and style. I love Dansko, but not all of their shoes work for me and I usually have to try them on an individual basis. There was no "break in" time with this shoe - it was absolutely comfortable out of the box. I went with my regular size 8 1/2 (39) that I wear in all Dansko styles in the rich brown and they fit perfectly. You can wear them barefoot or with socks, I like to pair mine with a cozy pair of Smartwool. My feet are on the narrow side and these fit well without being too baggy. There is some room as the heel strap isn't adjustable, but I find that it stays on securely. I treated mine with waterproof/leather protector and find myself reaching for them regardless of the weather. I can't wait to return to Logohoo to purchase a pair in black. For people who prefer a closed back shoe, I recommend the Dansko Sally which is the same style clog with a covered back. I hope my experience aids you in your search for the perfect shoes.
Dangerous. I've slipped and fallen twice while wearing these shoes. Maybe it's the design of the heel or the slippery sole? I won't leave the house in them again. Very cute, but scary.
Danced All Night - Great Shoe - I wore them for a wedding and was able to dance all night without my feet hurting that night or the next morning. Very comfortable and I plan on buying another pair in a different color.
Daisy, Love It--with Reservations - I can't decide if I'm completely happy with my new Daisy's in the pewter color. On the plus side, the leather is high quality and the style accommodates a high instep. Overall, Daisy is quite comfortable. On the minus side, the pewter is more of a bright silver and, with the nail heads, looks a bit flashy for day wear. Also, the shoe run quite large. If you can order a size down, do so. I couldn't because I ordered the smallest size available. I'm keeping them because I have an extremely hard to fit foot, but wish they were smaller.
